New Zealand Currency & Exchange Rates
New Zealand’s currency is the New Zealand Dollar, which is divided into 100
cents. Coins are in denominations of 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2. Notes are in
denominations of $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. All New Zealand banknotes are
made from plastic and are generally in good condition, except for older $5
notes which have worn very badly despite their age.
